STATEMENT
I am usually called Lo. I am a human living on Planet Earth – always accompanied by my imaginary dog. I create images as visual syntheses for complex emotions for which I cannot always find the right words.
I observe people as an incomplete text, perceiving possibilities rather than certainties. My aim is not to depict a fixed identity, but to explore what remains hidden between what is shown and our imagination of the other.
In the faces and figures of the people I observe, I explore stories – stories that have not always actually happened. In my work, reality and fiction coexist fluidly, without any need for boundaries.
Each image is an invitation to complete these narratives through one’s own experience. I do not look for closed answers, but create a space where perception, imagination, and empathy meet.
